K-Designers Earns An A Rating With The BBB

K-Designers is the kind of company you can trust.

I know because the Arizona Better Business Bureau says so.

K-Designers has earned an "A" rating on the site which tracks consumer complaints against companies in Arizona. Anyone who has ever turned to the BBB for action knows how thoroughly they investigate a company's performance. In my own experience as a retailer, I learned to take the call when the BBB was on the line. Ignoring the BBB is a mistake.

Even the best businesses sometimes step on toes getting the job done. But it's how you resolve a complaint that is important. K-Designers knows that a happy customer is a returning customer. Although K-Designers has had 4 complaints lodged against them since 2001 (that's a REALLY small number) they've settled each one amicably and fairly.

So if you plan on remodeling any part of your home or business, call on K-Designers. It's a company you can trust.

Just ask the BBB.

YMT Vacations To Hawaii - Say Aloha!

I've been seeing a lot of TV shows about Hawaii lately, so I recently contacted Your Man Tours for a quote on the perfect trip. Here's what I found out:

Your Man Tours runs ocean cruises to Kahului, Maui for unbelievable Pacific ocean views and to sun drenched Hilo on the Gold Coast for a day at the beach. Is history your thing? Your Man Tours will take you to the age-old whaling town of Lahaina, Maui, or to the rainforests and waterfalls of Nawiliwili, Kauai.

And all for under two thousand bucks!

With all the renewed interest in the Hawaiian islands I've been exposed to recently, I only have three words to say to my friends at YMT Vacations:

Book me Danno!

The Deer Tribe Metis Medicine Society

There is an old expression: "Patient, heal thyself." For the Deer Tribe Metis Medicine Society, it's an old saying with a modern ring of truth.

Through the teachings of the Sweet Medicine SunDance Path, the Deer Tribe Metis Medicine Society promotes a  spiritual practice derived from the age old ways of the Twisted Hairs medicine men and women.

Author Harley SwiftDeer Reagan outlines the teachings of the Deer Tribe Metis Medicine Society in the paperback "Deer Tribe Metis Medicine Society Shamanic Lodge of Ceremonial Medicine Offers Sweet Medicine Sundance Teachings on The Mirror of Self Reflection: The Inner Mirror Masks of the Mask of Self Pity."

Don't let the long title throw you off. It's a book full of simple truths.

Pick up a copy to learn the ancient ways and renew yourself through the power of spiritual healing.

1 800 Flowers For Mothers Day?

Today I flipped over the calendar to May and a quick glance told me of all the upcoming holidays. I like when calendar companies add those little reminders.

There's May Day, Cinco de Mayo, Armed Forces Day - hey! Florence Nightingale's got a birthday coming up. Wonder what I should get her? Then I saw the reminder that stopped me in my tracks. Mothers Day is May 10th.

May 10th! That's less than a week away! Oh wait, today's the 1st. As you can see the only thing worse than my math is remembering significant dates in advance. That's why I love 1 800 Flowers.

Flowers are the perfect gift for Mothers Day. It's just the right time of year to have their fragrance light up a room. Personally, I have always opted for uncut flowers, since they last so much longer. Martha Stewart understands. She's got a whole line of flowers that last and last.

So, I'm just reminding everybody while there's still time to avoid same day delivery charges (1 800 Flowers does that too!) Call 1800 Flowers and put in your order for a lovely gift of Mothers Day flowers.

Then you can think about what Florence Nightingale wants for her birthday. Don't worry, there's plenty of time until May 12th

But if you're stuck, flowers work every time.

United American Insurance Company Means Business

We all know that health care at its core is really a business like any other. And businesses that don't make a profit close their doors. But does health insurance have to cost so much?

United American Insurance Company believes that health care can be affordable, and profitable as well. That's a sound business strategy, especially in an area where wise judgment and practical experience mean the difference between - literally - life and death.

I've found that United American Insurance Company has just the right approach to explaining the health insurance options available to me, based on what I can truly afford. I know because they took the time to tell me. It's given me a lot to think about.

I'm on the verge of deciding whether or not to take the plunge with their coverage, but I feel that United American Insurance Company believes it was money well spent to take the extra time to carefully explain it all to me.

Even if it hurts the bottom line a little.

Harley SwiftDeer Reagan Weaves "Braids Of Truth"

Watching the PBS show "We Shall Remain" I got to wondering if there are any practitioners of the Native American "old ways" among the generation that exists side by side with their elders and the rest of contemporary American society. That's how I found out about Harley SwiftDeer Reagan.

Harley SwiftDeer Reagan is the founder of the Deer Tribe Metis Medicine Society which adheres to the teachings of a group of Native American philosophers known collectively as the "Twisted Hairs." The Twisted Hairs are Medicine Men (and Women) from many tribes who weave metaphorical "braids of truth."

Since 1992, Harley SwiftDeer Reagan has been seated as a Twisted Hairs Elder on the Tribal Council, adopting the name Thunder Strikes, and his aim is to weave a new tale with the skill, and dignity, of old.
