United American Insurance Company Means Business

We all know that health care at its core is really a business like any other. And businesses that don't make a profit close their doors. But does health insurance have to cost so much?

United American Insurance Company believes that health care can be affordable, and profitable as well. That's a sound business strategy, especially in an area where wise judgment and practical experience mean the difference between - literally - life and death.

I've found that United American Insurance Company has just the right approach to explaining the health insurance options available to me, based on what I can truly afford. I know because they took the time to tell me. It's given me a lot to think about.

I'm on the verge of deciding whether or not to take the plunge with their coverage, but I feel that United American Insurance Company believes it was money well spent to take the extra time to carefully explain it all to me.

Even if it hurts the bottom line a little.

Harley SwiftDeer Reagan Weaves "Braids Of Truth"

Watching the PBS show "We Shall Remain" I got to wondering if there are any practitioners of the Native American "old ways" among the generation that exists side by side with their elders and the rest of contemporary American society. That's how I found out about Harley SwiftDeer Reagan.

Harley SwiftDeer Reagan is the founder of the Deer Tribe Metis Medicine Society which adheres to the teachings of a group of Native American philosophers known collectively as the "Twisted Hairs." The Twisted Hairs are Medicine Men (and Women) from many tribes who weave metaphorical "braids of truth."

Since 1992, Harley SwiftDeer Reagan has been seated as a Twisted Hairs Elder on the Tribal Council, adopting the name Thunder Strikes, and his aim is to weave a new tale with the skill, and dignity, of old.
